How DraftCall Works — Season Guide
A DraftCall season is eight weeks of round-robin matchups followed by two weeks of playoffs. Here's the full flow.
1. Join a league
Pick a public league or spin up a private one with friends. 10 teams by default. Bots fill empty slots so drafts always start on time.
2. Draft your roster
Live snake draft, 60 seconds per pick. Set a queue if you need to step away — auto-pick takes from your queue, then ADP. You walk away with 10 picks — any mix of stocks or crypto.
3. Set daily picks
Each market day, choose your direction (Hold or Short) and assign confidence (1–3x). Picks lock at market open. Score = pct change × multiplier × direction.
4. Trade & waivers
Propose trades through Week 6. Accepted trades enter a 48-hour league-vote review. Waivers run weekly with a per-week cap.
5. Playoffs (Wks 9–10)
Top 4 seeds enter the championship bracket, 5–8 the consolation, and 9–10 fight in the toilet bowl. Cumulative score across both weeks decides last place.
6. Stay active
Your participation rate — the share of market days you've submitted picks on — is shown on your dashboard, in the league standings, and on every trade offer. Active managers stand out.
